Follow-up Comment #4:
Happens with OpenBox in my system under Xephyr too, so it's not a driver
issue. Flickering box very briefly under cursor when a floating window is
toggled on.
Griatch: Can you try current git (as of
http://gitorious.org/mypaint/mypaint/commit/0b23383a2dbef71561f7aa2788b93631f3989045
) to see if this helps the issue in any way? It uses positioning code that
(hopefully, all positioning variables being present) works a little more like
the old MyPaint way of doing things.
