Follow-up Comment #8, bug #17904 (project mypaint):
I personally prefer using both sides at once for docking. I like to have all
the docking windows visible at the same time, scrolling is counter productive.
So if I put color wheel, brushes and color mixer on the right, they fill up
the whole column. Then if I want to see the layers too, I have to let it float
around.
I would very much like to be able to lock it also on the left, again maybe
with brush options. The area in the middle is sufficient for painting on a
wide screen display, and I could see all the docking windows at once without
scrolling.
