Follow-up Comment #2:
We now have the internal API underpinnings which should allow a mode like this
to be implemented without causing too much hassle elsewhere, in case anyone
wants to give it a go. Note that the new LineModes do "temporary" stroke
rendering, in case we want to go that route.
A radius preview might not be so great, given that the current estimation can
be off by > half a radius quite frequently for many brushes.
