Thanks. I'm pretty sure I've got the latest firewire drivers, but I'll verify. I do know I'm running the CVS trunk versions of libraw1394 and libiec61883 as well as the latest version of libavc1394.
I'm assuming that if I have to upgrade the firewire drivers that its going to take a kernel rebuild? -Todd -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jim Westfall Sent: Monday, February 07, 2005 11:54 AM To: Development of mythtv Subject: Re: [mythtv] New ieee1394 code and DCT-6200 I would verify you have the most updated firewire driver for your kernel version (2.4/2.6). If the issue persists I would take it up with the linux firewire guys. The mythtv firewire code makes the same library calls as test-mpeg2. jim Todd Tidwell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote [02.07.05]: > I can't tell you all how amazed I was to find the new ieee1394 capture > device code in the current CVS tree.
