this is something discussed on the list many times. The pause is due to the 2 second (or so) buffering that myth does, and you can't disable it. Most users don't channel surf, but use the browse mode or EPG to see what else is on, or don't watch live tv period (no commercials). -- Email me if you want a gmail account, I have invites.
