I have 1 350 and 1 nVidia 6600 GT (s-video out, dual dvi out). Have a pre-existing ripped CD collection and music playing solution (www.slimdevices.com), but I will be using this box to rip more CDs as well as DVDs. So I guess if the standard setup is to run Myth via X on a tv-out, then I'm fine with that b/c it makes a-lot of other things easier. My concern was that it complicated other things, and wasn't necessary for Myth (I was guessing Myth did some magic by working directly with the raw tv-out device), and I could do most other things command-line anyway (the music system is all web driven). But again, if the "standard" install is to go x over tv-out, then ok.

If so, the rules are different... - Do you have a dual-head video card. Again, if you do, rules are a little different. - Do you have a "special" need like pre-existing video collection, pre-existing CD collection, the need to rip DVDs, etc. They should be considered when going through the install/setup. Good luck, and welcome to the family...
