I've got the same problem on FC2, there is no 2 gigs file support build in httpd from the repository. I've transfered my web server from Windows 2000 to FC2 and now I'm getting these problems, just not cool. It seems to be a common problem with lots of applications these days, kind of annoying, but I can't complain I'm not doing the work...
