NOT getting analog cable if you have digital seems odd, unless they
have installed some kind of filter on your line.  I know in our
neighborhood, all you have to do is open the neighborhood box (none
are locked in this area), plug yourself in, and you've got basic
analog cable.  Take the filter that may or may not be there off, and
you've got the full package (less HBO, Cinemax, etc...).  Not that
I've ever done this stuff...just know others who have.  Basically,
once there is a cable connection going into your home, there should be
analog signal travelling down it unless your cable provider is (for
some stupid reason) intentionally blocking it. Though, with Comcast,
I'm sure the stupid reason part is there.
