Hey there. I also live in Riverside, CA! But I have my cable internet service through Charter. When I signed up, Adelphia didn't offer service here.
Anyway, this same thing worked for me for nearly a year. I was thoroughly enjoying my MythTV box. And then I went to Colorado for a week. When I came back, there was no TV!!! It turns out that during the time period that I was gone, Charter came to our apartment complex and set up (or simply tried to convince the customers to get) digital cable. In that process they must have installed the filters in our box. I verified this by going around to the box and noticed fresh pieces of coax cable on the ground around the box. Being a poor college student, I really wanted to reverse those changes ;-) Unfortunately, the box was locked. I think I would've felt really guilty anyway. Oh well, I guess my roommates and I may have to fork out the cash for digital cable now. It's sad. We're running off of rabbit ears right now, which suck soo bad, especially considering our location, where practically nothing comes in. I brought my MythTV box back to my parents house in Corona for now to at least continue recording my shows. ~Lou On Mon, 2005-02-07 at 15:33 -0800, Ajay Sharma wrote: > I have Adelphia in Riverside, CA for my cable modem service.
