That's what he appeared to be saying. I've been generally pleased with the svideo output from the 5200 and related cards. I also have the audio authority vga to component adapter described, which does a good job at HDTV resolutions which is what it's for (though I shortly won't need it as my HDTV takes RGB component as well as YPbPr) To the annoyance of many, SDTV recorded by a pvr-250 and played back on an HDTV using component hi-res output often doesn't look as good as SDTV going to a regular TV from the svideo out port, due to softenings and filterings that get rid of some mpeg artifacts, plus oversharpening on many HDTVs.
