You forgot the AverMedia M179, which is a Hauppauge knockoff. Lots of people seem to think they are lower quality cards than the PVR-x50s. They run about $80. I've had one as my main recording card and its worked fine for over a year now with no signs of slowing down. My wife records about 25 hours of TV a day too so it is well used.
