As far as we know, you can't. I've been railing about this problem on
the nvnews message board for months, and sent in a bug report to nvidia,
no response. You could do the same. As far as we know here, nobody has
gotten 1080i to work over DVI with the Nvidia drivers, we all get the
double-vision problem.
I am not sure why it shows up trying to do 540p on some TVs, I presume
they are trying to make it interlaced.
If you find a resolution, many people would be happy to hear it.
For now:
a) Run at 720p -- I would be surprised if your TV wasn't actually
native 720p, almost all the DLP/LCD/projection ones sold today are.
b) Drive analog, with an audio authority converter, or a TV that
can take RGB component (some can) or VGA.
