Hello All, I just updated to .17 via the rpms and immediately got the problem related to MythPhone when trying to boot the frontend. Removed MythPhone and got the frontend up, but now MythTV is giving me the following errors:
1. Warns of no sound going to Live TV, but works in MythVideo and MythMusic: 2005-02-12 14:22:42.596 Opening audio device 'spdif'. ALSA lib control.c:654:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL /dev/mixer 2005-02-12 14:22:42.638 Mixer attach error -2: No such file or directory Check Mixer Name in Setup: /dev/mixer 2005-02-12 14:22:49.492 Using XV port 145 2005-02-12 14:22:50.120 Realtime priority would require SUID as root. Don't know what happened - do I need a new verson of ALSA perhaps? 2. Upon trying to watch Live TV (with no audio) it shows the video for a few seconds, locks up, and then goes back to the main menu: 2005-02-12 14:22:50.140 Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV 2005-02-12 14:22:50.245 Video timing method: USleep with busy wait 2005-02-12 14:22:51.158 prebuffering pause 2005-02-12 14:23:10.146 ReadStringList timeout (quick). I've seen people talking about this but an apt-get update qt shows I have the latest version I think. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Chris
