Maybe I'm talking through my hat on this one, but the impression I get
is that issues with the 350 are possibly the most common single topic on this
mailing list.  Clearly many people get it to work but many also encounter
trouble.

Now that you can pick up things like an NVIDIA GF4 card for $30 from web
stores (not that Nvidia drivers don't have their issues!) and a 5200
card from buy.com and many others for $45, and this is often less than
the price difference of the 250 and 350 (and much more than the difference
of the 150 and 350) I would say this is the way to go.  But let actual
350 owners chime in.

One major exception is if you don't have an AGP slot in your older computer,
then the pvr-350 seems a wiser choice.
