There is no such thing as a HDMI to DVI converter, fortunately. HDMI is
a superset of DVI-D, they are directly compatible, all you need is a $6
adapter that gives you the right plug, or a cable with DVI at one end
and HDMI at the other end, which are also quite common.
But beware, getting DVI or HDMI working with Myth is fraught with peril. Nobody seems to have much luck doing it at 1080i. 720p is more doable, but I learned yesterday that many HDTVs don't have that great an HDMI input on them.
I got it working recently with properly configuring xorg.conf. I have mine setup at 1920x1080i. My Nvidia 6600 GT is connected to my Mitsubishi via DVI cable. However, I needed to play with appearance in mythfrontend to configure the x & y offsets. This is due to overscan w/c are inherent in all televisions. That's my next target, play with my Mits' service menu :)

sorry, place is still messy :)
Still, 720p HDMI/DVI-D is a much cheaper and hopefully better course than getting a YPbPr converter.
I do 540p (960x540p) via DVI->HDMI cable to my CRT RPTV instead of
1080i since it can't handle an external 720p input. This only works
on the 4620 nvidia driver build patched with 2.6 support. Even 540p
over DVI seems problematic on any later builds for me.
I eagerly wait a Bug Free(tm) nvidia driver build that can do
1080i output over DVI.
