Right, but I went to get them and they aren't there. The nvidia site only has amd64, which is what I have, but I'm running in 32 bit mode. I got my original set from atrpms, but none are yet available there for my setup.
The 'nvidia.ko' module has to be recompiled for every kernel change. The 'easy way' is to just re-run the installer. If you don't have that http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html has 'em.The slightly more difficult way is to --extract-only the Nvidia package you got above, go to {nvidia package version}usr/src/nv and type 'make install'. It will just compile and install the kernel module. (It does need to find the kernel headers though), instead of re-installing the entire kit.
I'm happly running the latest 8178 on 2.6.15.1
