No doubt Maggie...same thing happened in my school only I had the mag there...I
would run in with things I wanted to talk about and I swear all they did was
thumb thru and only look at the pics...I was all excited about one day meeting
Vicki Peters, back then she was in all the time and widely talked about from
what I could see at the time and was determined that one day I would stand in
front of her. I will never forget the response I got from the students, Who is
Vicki Peters and big deal..I was mortified..they were clueless even with the
materials in front of their faces. Come to think of it Maggie, there are only
two of us out of that class that are still in the business..hmm may not have to
take down those girls names after all...

I totally understand how hurt/frustrated/shocked you must
be about this.

I learned about Nails and Nailpro from a nail tech I went
to when I was fresh out of high school-- when I enrolled in
school for my license 3 years later I immediately went to
her to get the subscription cards because I wanted to know
EVERYTHING!

I remember being in nail school and someone bringing in a
Nails magazine (mine didn't start arriving until the day I
left for state board!) and all my fellow students clamoring
to get a look at it... until they realized it was a
MAGAZINE, not a catalog where they could buy products.

That was a disappointing lesson to learn about the mind set
of some people who get into this biz.

Take those students' names down-- how much you wanna bet
they show up in one of your classes sometime down the road?
