Hi Kelley, If I understand you right...this client is new. She gets her acrylics filled once in a while? you say this was her first time getting fills? hmmm So she gets acrylics..lets them grow waaaay out cuz she "normally doesn't get them filled" and that "it was her first time ever getting getting fills"
At what point is she calling you to tell you she has 6 grren nails? after 4-5-6 weeks? or a few days? Either way....Im no doctor...but we have been taught to recognize pseudomonas ie...greenies..water mold... a bacterial infection usually inbetween the enhancment and the natural nail caused by harboring moisture. A habit of excessive hand washing with enhancments that "hardly ever get filled" sounds like trouble. Lets say the reason she hardly ever gets fills is because who ever does them trenches them out with the e-file and essentially hackin up the plate for better adheasion. I see that all the time. Women with there nails grown out 6 wks. If you did a great job on her and she had just a lil lifitng ..add excessive hand washing and maybe 3-6 wks to long..then sounds like this would be the reason for 6 green nails. unno....whatcha think?
