Hey Pati, I tell you, I have no clue whatsoever why I couldn't make LCN work! I sat with 2 different educators, did the same exact things they did... Oh yeah, I DID apply it the same way I apply Brisa.... The problem was within a week, the product was lifting on almost everyone I used it on!
I followed the manufacturers directions to a TEE... I was using LCN lamps with brand new bulbs... I eliminated every possible reason that could be causing the lifting.... Yes, including brand new primer and brushes... I could not make that product work! That coupled with all the stuff in my previous post is why I used the term "different".... In an attempt to be diplomatic! Haha! I don't want to offend any LCN users out there... But I swear... I couldn't make it work! Resin again ---LCN it IS more expensive I agree with that....I never wiped off the dispersion layer in between cures! I applied it the same way i would Brisa...and they both stayed great! I do know you have to have a strong lamp for LCN...maybe your bulbs were off? Pati To: Pati From: God "Not what you wanted. Not what you asked for, nor what you deserve. Resin again ---LCN Haha! LCN IS gel... They call it resin for marketing purposes. It costs about hree times what Brisa costs. They market this product as "organic..." Smilz... nd, as a whole, the "general public" has no clue what that really means! Haha! ow many times have we had THAT discussion in here, ladies? Giggles... I have used this LCN product. From every application I have laid-- assuming its hemical formula is still the same as it was about 2 years ago-- you only get bout 80% cure on it.... MEANING the 20% that is left remaining is the "dispersion" layer; i.e., that hich chemically is unable to "cure.". SO.. With most gel systems, you simply pply your next layer of gel on top of the dispersion (tacky) layer so it can ond (cure) to it, etc etc, creating the artificial nail. With=2 0LCN, the dispersion layer is so great, you have to wipe it off, buff, and pply more product after curing each layer... So.. In light of the cost of this product AND the amount of it that doesn't ure.... I never understood why anyone ever uses it! But, most techs who use LCN around here charge like 75.00 for a set of P/Ws and 5.00 for 2wk fills! And I guess they have to in order to purchase it! Anyway... That was my experience with LCN.... Maybe I just didn't know how to old my mouth! Then she asked me to help her with Resin, but she confused me when she aid the resin looked like gel. That is when I came here for help. I thought was losing my mind. Because I learned that Resins were in the same family s Silk and Fiberglass and she was talking resin-gel. That is what I riginally wanted to clarify. HEN she tells me that the Resin she wants help with was LCN and the Salon wner stated to her that if she brushed up on her gel skills that LCN would e easier for her. I was taught that LCN was a gel, and now they are saying esin?? have had little experience with LCN, and I agree wi th you Melody, it IS a ifferent product. Make sure she s correctly communicating to you the system she is trying to learn because o me, I am not hearing "wraps" on any level. And, if it is LCN....
