It's the Powder Gel System. I don't know the others. You need to work with an Educator to learn the tricks. Longer Version So....is this system still available for sale to nailtechs and which system would it be. I would love to try something like that. Thanks. (Sorry you had a very long and aggravating day yesterday). Now I will take a few min to explain. Long ago our Gels in the US were Crap. The Owner of LeChat Powder Gel was Originally a Salon owner. He wanted an Alternative to smelly Ac but Odorless Ac was really Bad too. He worked with a Chemist and developed a combo system that had Flexibility Durability and was odorless . It was the First Gel in a Brush on Bottle! There are layers of Gel Brushed on and fine Polymer powder (Originally Traditional AC Powder) sprinkled on which are absorbed into the gel and cured. Because of the way it files (it's not as rubbery as gel) it can be confused with AC, I did at first. This was LONG before Backscratchers or anyone else ever thought of sprinkling powder. Acrygel by Cuccio is a knockoff too. We are talking the 90's here. THIS was the FIRST Soakable Gel! Once the Sealer was filed off you soaked them in Acetone and the Polymers started to dissolved so it could be scraped off. This led to Several Salons and a demand for the product from other techs so he began selling it. He has the 2 words Gel Powder and Powder Gel so tied up you can barely write them a sentence together pertaining to nails without a letter from the lawyer. (Smart Man). Several companies now say "you can strengthen your gels with a layer of clear powder" but are very careful how it is written. It is so strongly associated with the Asian Community that many techs will not look at it. I have to say this was really a Great Product. It just works. You can build a really nice nail with it. I no longer work for them because the accountant did not want to reimburse things like Parking at the Airport and other costs of my traveling. (I wouldn't be parking at the airport if I was not traveling for you!) I did a LOT of traveling for them. In the few years that have passed since I left LeChat they have come out with several new products. A few of which I spent hours trying to talk him into. But what do I know I am just a Nail Tech. Such is life with "some" manufacturers. Has anyone heard of this? Ok The is the Powder Gel Story........ When LeChat Powder Gel was first being developed The only polymer powders available had BPO's (activators)in them. Meaning they could be used to make AC nails. (The Powder Now used by them has no BPO's in them) So when the Asian community bought the LeChat product they bought bulk powder and used it for Gel and AC. When I worked for LeChat I had many arguments with the owner about this "Misnomer" and the confusion it caused. His response was, they only sold Powder w/BPO to their Original Clients. They Changed the Packaging but the Asian Community still persists in calling it Gel Powder. That's the Short version of the Story.
