Holly,
Like you, I am not sure what way I like better- the sprinkle or brush method!!
When I did my son's girlfriend for our trip, I sprinkled the pink on and for
the silver "threads" on the free edge, I had to use a brush to achieve the look
I wanted.
I also had to buff hers and mine. The silver threads stuck up and that would
have bothered me.
Wait until you see how many photos I took of my toes! Like you, I cannot stop
looking at them. BUT- doing your own, especially a french, is soooo hard! I
have the look in he sand- on the chair, in the pool.... Lol. Mine are not wild
though as I am more of a plain gal.
Buenos dias from my last full day in Punta Cana,

I have tried sprinkling and spreading with a brush dipped in gel/
glitter mixture. Haven't decided which way I like best. I am
finding I have to file after the glitter coat to get a smooth surface
before I add the sealer. I had hoped to avoid this and just seal
overtop of cured/unwiped gel. It is not fun filing your own toes! I
also find when filing it's easy to take away too much of the glitter
layer and leave bare spots. This will all be easier on a client than
on me. I'm must trying to get the process down before I do it on
clients.

I am presently sporting a beautiful pink and in the sun I can't take
my eyes off my toes....
