Diana, when i do it I sprinkle BUT...I prep nail, cleanse with scrubfresh, apply protein bond, put in toe separators, apply base coat, sprinkle and THEN cure...when they come out of light I brush off excess and apply gloss gel.? cure again and done!? no buffing or filing....

I tapped the foot, knocked it around, slapped LOLOLOL to remove excess. (one of the clients did ask me if it was sanitary to put the unused glitter back into the container, because I sprinkled (poured) way too much on her and had to throw it away)I did cure again for another 2 minutes. Okay this is where the pain in the butt came. When I applied the gel on top of this, the glitter started moving, so I was getting "patches". I applied the gel thicker and a lighter touch, but didn't like the sidewalls, because the glitter would move, would have patches, so ended up with the gel not very close to the sidewalls. The gel wouldn't glide to the sidewalls unless I really added more then it would go onto the skin. jeez, does anyone understand this one. Maybe what I am trying to say, is control issues. When I mix my glitter and gel on the toe or brush, I have control of both.
