Hi Techs,
I have a whirlpool foot spa that I am getting ready to use in my studio and
I have a questions about how to disinfect it.
I have the OPI Spa Clean and have used that, now I am ready to use a
disinfecting solution. The barbicide I have says to mix 2 ounces for
every quart of water. If my spa holds 3 gallon...if I am figuring this out
correctly...I have to use 24 oz of barbicide to disinfect for 10 minutes? That
sounds like way too much and very expensive if I need to do this after every
client. Am I not figuring this out correctly?
What kind of disinfectants do those of you with whirlpool spas use and what
is the proper amount to use? Can someone please help to clarify this for me??
