According to the bottle it is a cleaner, sanitizer,fungicide,mildewstat,virucide deodorizer... It also states that it is staphlocidal, pseudomonacidal,bacteriacidal,salmonellacidal... it doesn't smell all that great and it does foam. You will need to refill and rinse the tub at least once if not twice. I feel very safe using it. Nicole Tausch
