I use bleach... 'bout a quarter cup in the filled bath and run it for 10 minutes and drain it. This is just fine for WA state law they say!!! (Every 2 weeks it has to be left in overnight...) It is cheap, easy, doesn't foam and I know it is CLEEEEEEEEAN...

It also states that it is staphlocidal, pseudomonacidal,bacteriacidal,salmonellacidal... it doesn't smell all that great and it does foam. You will need to refill and rinse the tub at least once if not twice. I feel very safe using it. Nicole Tausch Shopping for Mom?
