I have my clients go in and out of the light until the spiking stops,  its not
as intense this way,  or have them hold their hand just outside of light right
in front of lamp.  This works really well.  As most of the gels spike,  just at
different levels.

I am having major issues with the gel heat spiking. I know if the gel is to
thick it will do this. I have been applying a thin layer of clear and cure,
then a thicker layer of pink over the clear. How many layers do you guys
usually apply? I have been using Brisa and I just tried Nailite. They both heat
up.
