I do disinfect the marbles and tub -- just to be on the safe side. I'd rather error on the side of caution. Sometimes the plastic bag seems to leak and if not cleaned the basin can develop a musty smell. I clean the marbles in a bleach solution - just soak them at the end of the day right in the basin and drain into a colander, just for the marbles, and rinse well. I tell new clients 'you won't go home with anything you didn't bring with you' so far everyone has been very appreciative of my concern for their safety. Of course, I also wear gloves -- same ones our paramedics use on the ambulances. I don't sterilize my instruments but do sanitize and disinfect with hospital grade disinfectant. Do keep all instruments covered after sanitizing and disinfecting. Pat.
