I've learned to recognize "crazyeyes" and I just keep up a non-stop  
patter of sunshine and lollipops without letting them get a word in  
edgewise. It's soooooo worth it because they never come back. They're  
looking for a place to spread their misery and that place is not here.  
=)

As for coworkers, they're a whole different kettle of fish.
