Me too, Diana! I use my paper cutter to cut those little foam squares. Were you
able to find thin, thin foam? I think mine is about 3/8" and I'd prefer 1/4".
I'd also prefer a more dense foam than the mint green color I found at JoAnn.

I saw an ad awhile back for mini buffer blocks. For the past 2 years or so,
I've been cutting mine in 5 equal pieces then cutting those in half diagonally.
So I'm able to get 10 toenail buffers from one buffer block. We are so cheap!!

Oh I forgot to mention something.  I use alcohol to really clean the
nails.  But you have to use something that does not have lint or
leaving anytime of residue.

the little sponge foam things from the gel companies are so
expensive.  So I went to JoAnn Fabrics and bought a sheet of
foam.  It was on sale for 3.99 a yard, and brought it home and started cutting.

Save money, but lordy be does your hand hurt from cutting all those
little squares!!! LOLO Have zip lock bags full of foam all over the
place!! hehehehhe diana from indiana
