Depends on who you talk to. Chop shop is ANY shop that takes the nails and rips 
them to shreds; uses MMA, does not use clean file and implements in each client 
among other things. 
This is the term I use. Others use the nss twrm. I worked in three nss. All 
upscale salons that from the client perspective looked like a very nice place.

Michele Phelan-Cowan has the best photos of a bad pedi from a chop shop on her 
Facebook page.
If anyone ever saw this and then still continues to patronize those chop shops, 
then they deserve all they leave with.
