Using that as just one of the many many violations they broke on a daily and weekly occurance and I wasn't going to risk my good name or good practices for all that. So to let all ya'll know it isn't just the non-standard salons that make or carry out violations continuously. I also know of another well know dayspa in the area that had violation problems too. It's everywhere!!!! I just had a student of mine hired at a very HIGH END SALON and the manicure area was very nasty and wouldn't have passed state board inspection if they had visited when she statrted there. So ladies alot of salons out there have gotten lax lately and need to shape up. Ok enough of my soap box. Years ago some of the sector that is referred to as chop shops started to scream racist because it was close to chop suey!! I guess they never realized that chop suey is actually an American made recipe. It makes no sense! Anyway you choose the term for you. I call it as I see it. I will start calling them salons when they follow the standards that I follow and board regulations that I follow. Those photos say it all.
