Okay, confused over this one.  Not upset, just odd. Weird

I order products on-line from a major nail company, not even going 
there guys, because this would be taken as a slam, it is not.  Tried 
to get on this weekend and my password and user name wouldn't 
work.  So I emailed the company and got a quick response.

I have to re-register every month!!!!!!!!WHAT????? Checked my 
records, I had not ordered on-line since January, but I purchased 
their products at the Chicago show, and again in Orlando. And I 
started using their products last year, so about every 3 months I 
purchase products.

Okay, I can see that they don't know I bought products in March and 
June, Okay I understand that.  But why in the world would they have 
their computers set up to purge every month???

And they have my email addy, because they send me promos.  Okay is 
this like a grocery store, keep the bread and milk in the back of the 
store so I can walk thru the store and buy more?
Is this a way to make me come to their website on a monthly basis to 
urge me to spend again?

I hate to register anywhere, pain in the butt, and a new 
password???????? I have so many passwords, hard to keep up.  And 
don't even go thru the hassle going thru the purse with the hundreds 
of "gotta have a card" to purchase anything anymore stuff, to find my 
license number.  Oh well, just odd, just never heard of a monthly
