Robin, Call Carrolwood beauty supply in Tampa (used to be called Southeast nails) ...hopefully they are still in business. The owner's name is (was?) Michael....and he also owned a beauty school in the Largo-Clearwater area called ..I think American beauty...it is on Ulmerton Road...(corner of 66th street) anyway..he *should* know that answer...being he is on both sides of that coin! Their number was 813-908-3921 when I lived there....

I DO NOT OWN ONE NOR HAVE I EVER USED A CREDO BLADE. ACTUALLY I DO THINK THERE IS SOME RULES AND REGULATIONS ON THE MY FLORIDA.COM WEB SITE. MY OTHER OPTION IS TO CONTACT A TEACHER AT THE TECH. INSTIUTE. MAYBE I WILL TRY THAT ROUTE FIRST. THANKS AGAIN TO YOU ALL FOR BEING SO HELPFULL!!!!! First, all of us in FL know that the information on that phone number is NOT accurate - it is a central Business and Professional agency bunch that is way to separated from the Cos Board for them to always be right. (I called for information once, got an answer, called back and got a different answer! Had to drive to Tallahassee and can tell you I was NOT happy!) I have no suggestions for you on that! Second, I will tell you that if you are sued, a judge can determine that what you are doing is medical or surgical, regulation or not, and then you are in a whole world of hurt! Liability is very expensive in more ways than money. People have been sent to jail for 'practicing without a license.' Third, if you have them send the information to her, that will put her on the red flag list and she will be visited, if you know what I mean. I don't think she would appreciate that. And you may not have a job, then. Just and FYI. MY QUESTION IS THE CREDO BLADE LEGAL IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA? I KNOW ITS NOT LEGAL IN NY. I HAVE RECENTLY STARTED WORKING WITH SOME ONE AND SHE TOLD ME I HAD TO USE THIS BLADE. I BELIEVE IN DOING THINGS LEGALLY AND BY THE BOOK! AND I WANT TO KEEP IT THAT WAY. SHE TOLD ME IT WAS LEGAL. I DON'T THINK IT IS! SO IF ANY ONE CAN ANSWER THIS, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I WILL BACK IT AND NOT USE IT. THANK YOU! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group.
