Not all the canes need to be warmed to slice easy.. take a test slice
or 2 to see..if you need to use more than firm pressure on the blade,
warm it.. you can do this any number of ways.. if you use a regular
incandescent lamp on your table, bring the lamp down close to the
cane for a minute or so.. some girls pop them in the toaster oven on
low for 15-30 seconds.. some place the cane in their bra :) in their
pockets, a cup of really warm water..

There is a little you tube video linked from the canes pages in the
Shoppe on slicing.. there is 3 tutorials linked also from the Canes FAQ

ahh.. easy one.. think wraps.. cut, tear the paper and lay into wet
acrylic, the wet gel or dispersion layer, or use brush on glue, lay
the paper and glue again.. cap it like you would anything else you
embed with clear.. there was a few pics I did quick on the papers
pages in the shoppe also for a look-see :)
