Hey everyone! Two weeks ago I was visiting my daughter in Chicago. She has this tendency to run me all over the city to see everything. Just about every block had at least FOUR chop shops. Some had six! BUT, the thing that fascinated me was that every single one had a sign that advertised " NO CHIP MANICURES." I tried to keep looking, but my daughter wanted to keep moving. But I talked to her about it and she said that it really works! Her roommates sister had it done and it lasted for three weeks. I told her it MUST be soak off gel. Jaclynne was not sure, but I was almost positive about it. So on Saturday I bounced around to the Vietnamese supply stores there. (only ONE was open on Saturday, BTW) I talked to the one guy and he was very helpful. He said it is Axxium. OKAY!!! Yes!! It was soak off gel, as I suspected! Well, I was not about to pay $70 for three OPI colors! No way Jose!! I am not going to advertise this as soak off gels. I am going to use the buzz words--NO CHIP MANICURES. It is all in the advertising. I am sure that NCM will bring more attention than SOG. On Monday, I ordered quite a few colors from Nailite. They have GORGEOUS colors. For some reason, my browser would not show me more than six colors, but Lisa sent 5 samples of other colors and OMG, they are beautiful! I also want to order the color drops from TEN and then have an array of colors to choose from. I also LOVE NSI's soak off gel. The thing is, I want to save money and not raise my prices again. Now, for those of you who do the soak off gel-- *how much more are you adding on? *do you charge for soaking off?* *do you have the client soak off at home? *does the product REALLY stay on for two or more weeks? *are any of you using this over acrylic? (I tried it on a client with P&W and it peeled) *My manicures are $21. I will do this for $5 more??? sound okay? BUT, NO full arm massage and all that extra niceties! I look forward to your replies. buenos dias, Lynnette
