Well, finally over, this is the first Christmas Eve that I have never had to work!!! Yipee!!!!!!!So glad to finish my last client last night!!!
Odd holidays this year. Our Gift Certificates were way down this year. I only sold two, stylists sold zero. Just odd. Of course you have to realize that our town is so bad financially that as of January 1st they were going to turn out all of our street lights because no money for the electric bill, at least the traffic lights were going to stay on!! But my clients kept me busy, got a couple of new referrals in, received very nice gifts, my clients are sooo good to me. Starbucks is covered until about April!!! heheheh My son has a couple of friends that will receive zero gifts this year, so telling my clients that I am going to make a whole bunch of cookies this morning and wrap them up and give them to these kids. And God love them, started giving me money to go out and get the kids something!!!!! So had a cancellation yesterday and off to the dollar store I go buying toothbrushes, toothpaste, tylenol, cold medicine, things like that so they don't have to spend their own money on basic things. Ahhh,,,,,,the season to give, even when you think you have it rough, there is always those that are worse!!!!!!!!!
