I have a UP-200 which I purchased in 1989.  I had the brushes in  the 
handpiece replaced after 10 years and other than that I have had  dependable 
reliable service!  Amazingly they are still the same price after  all these 
years.  go figure.  Well worth the $400 investment.  If  you break it down, it 
comes to $20 per year including the cost of the brush  replacement at the 10 
year mark.
