With the Star soak off gel all you need to do is apply the color and before curing just look at the free edge to see if there is any creep back. If there is just touch the free edge up before curing. I have not had any problems with shrinkage and I do use primer and my clients go 3 weeks no problem. Without the primer it lasts 2 weeks. There is a white gel and that is what I use for the French.
