Maybe the best way for people to understand this and I think we owe Sheryl
Goldberg for clearing it up years ago---
If you have four 100 watt lamps in your living room, you do not have 400
watts there. You just have Four lamps with 100 watts each.
That may make more sense to some. BUT the nail companies insist on saying it
is a 27 or 36 watts when in reality it is just a 9 watt X 4 bulbs!!

A 27 watt light is a light using 3 9 watt bulbs. Still only emitting 9
watts of UV power just using three bulbs for more coverage. I am surprised
that a CND rep does not know this...... It's the number one question that a
student or technician usually asks :o)

Ronda, thanks for the clarification- the CND rep and I were fumbling
with the info. I didn't know how it worked, she didn't either! So if
someone says they use a 27 watt light, what is it really? CND said it
was an 18 watt lamp but it has 4 9 watt bulbs which is why we came up
with 36 watts...... Imadingbat!
