I agree, the lamps should have a 3 min timer. As for the shrinkage, I have been curing the base then using an acrylic brush dampened with some alcohol and quick swipe the nails. When you apply your first coat of color you will not have the shrinkage. I think Rhonda posted that. I tried it and it works great! Lisa
