Mary Jo, I love the Fedora but the stuff is just a wrinkly mess. I cannot put it on any thinner. My clients are watching it wrinkle during the cure. I will not believe it is the lights because everything else is curing fine. I know Diana said hers yellowed, but I did not have any yellowing when I did just the clears. I uses Axxium top and base when I did judt the clears. If you want just a tad added strength, then Gelish or Axxium is the way to go. Shellac is way too thin. Pam, I did the Shellac base then the topcoat today for added reinforcement of my nails as I want to keep their length. It looks great, one of my clients today wanted the same french manicure colors as I have....LOL, imagine that! We will see how it holds up in my acetone polish remover. I used negligee last week, lasted about 9 days, 6 of which I was working 8-12 hour days. It started to melt away from the acetone polish remover usage. I am not a big color fan, so this clear base/clear topcoat is great for me in the salon! I have a client that is a chemical engineer and we were talking while I was doing her Fedora mani/pedi and we found this color to wrinkle something unbelievable. I ended up cleaning, filing and topcoating and it was fine. But she said that because of the pigments in the denser colors the lights bounce off the product differently, she suggested to take the hand/foot out of the lamp as soon as the light turns off. We did this and the wrinkling stopped. Interesting??? Also, has anyone else noticed that the product actually "smooths" out a bit from initial application to a few days later? I have had some clients leave the salon with a little "swirl" in their color and when they returned in 2 weeks, the "swirl" was not noticeable....???
