Vicks works. Hands down works. It is cheep and you dont need liver testing like the oral meds. You need to stay consistent with it until it is 100% grown out so how far back it has gone will sort of determine how long of a period it will be needed. But IT WORKS. We have several Drs. in the area that even suggest it. One dr. that writes a regular health question and answer thing in the paper has written about it several times. He isnt even sure why but it does the job. It cracks me up how many people will yack about how bad their toenails are but wont try it or use it for a week and it is not gone yet so it must not be doing anything. They need to understand the anatomy of the nail and the layers and the potential for fungal spores to hide there dormant sometimes but there, and how long it takes for the nail to really grow. Even if they get a prescription for something it must be used until totally grown out or it may come back and I have seen people try that and not follow through also because they dont want to go for the blood work regularly or take it more than a week or two. i

Not me! I had a very small area on both big toes a few years back. I was diligent with the Vicks-daily. After shower I cleaned out the toenails and put the Vicks under. It took 8 monthsN but it worked. It also worked for a couple other people I recommended it to. If they are not consistent, it will not work. If they are willing to take oral meds daily, how hard is it to apply Vicks daily? ;-) Buenos dias, Lynnette http://www.facebook.com/nailtech Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile -----Original Message----- From: "Pat. So much so that the Doc I worked with recommended it to our patients. It should be applied twice daily same as Lamisil cream. Try it you'll like it and so will your clients. It is much less costly than Lamisil. Pat.
