Okay, just going to throw this out there, when using the Shellac for French
are you shaking the hell out of it? (all of it, base, top, Cream Puff and
whatever sheer you are using)  The only time we experienced cracking (or you
could call it shattering) was in the beginning when we didn't know better to
shake it.  I remember Holly saying, roll your polish and shake, shake, shake
your Shellac.  We shake, shake, shake all before we use every time and no
more cracking.  Can't comment on the other colors of Shellac since we only
use Cream Puff and Negligee!
