Just be careful as too much exposure to heat can cause partial polymerizatuion
in the bottle.

Hi Angie, so far my Gelish has been fine, but I know a few of us struggle with
Shellac Fedora and Cream Puff to apply it thin. I’ve always got at least one
finger wrinkle whenever I apply Fedora, it’s just a tad too thick. I think you
might be right about the polish part of Shellac evaporating, and thickening.

Well….no more! The candle warmer heats it up just enough that I was able to
apply nice, thin, even coats of Fedora and Cream Puff. I also threw Negligee
and Romantique and my top coat on there too, with the same results. No more
streaks. The way I look at it is….nice thin even coats for coverage = less
product used, and less time soaking off. I think it’s a win-win J

Is it just Shellac that gets thick? I didn't know any of it got thick. Maybe
the polish part in the Shellac is what is thickening up. I haven't had a
problem with Gelish yet.

Lynnette - I’ve started the experiment – Shellac Fedora and Cream Puff are
warming up on it right now. I’ll wait a few minutes then apply them to a tip
and see if it helps!

Ooohhhhh Laura... I love that idea. I will adore the person who develops a
thinner for those sogs that get too thick!
(which I am sure is already out there, just not for us)
Buenos dias!

I sometimes heat mine on a candle / coffee mug warmer. If my room gets cold in

with the idea of doing this to the thicker Shellac colors to see if it helps
with my application. Like Fedora.
