That happened to me with a Nailite gel polish. It was pearly pink. I used almost all of it and then it started looking more milky and separating with big pitts like their was oil on the nails when they came out of the lamp. That is why you really need to scrape the bottom of the pot and keep it mixed up good. Angie Wingerter

Even a orange wood stick, the toothpick does not really have enough surface to effectively stir the gels. Stirring properly is important to get the pigments properly mixed with the gel. If regularly NOT properly mixed, at some point you will have a bad ratio of too little or too much pigment - too much or too little gel in relation to the amount of pigment.
