I use the same procedure as Michelle and it works just fine with most of the soak offs may take a little longer from product to product...Shellac is off in under 5 minutes by the time I get to the 10th finger the 1st is ready to come off I use an orange wood stick to remove the rest no damage or problems to the nails other then time to time a white spot here and there I DO NOT use oil prior but just after I have removed all the product let sit while removing the remaining product from other fingers then manicure and cleanse with soapy brush, scrub fresh and a ph balancer just to be safe then apply the base and other steps to follow I'm done with the entire process in under 45 minutes I have a little system down now!

I am getting it to 10 min soak, but then I have to file it off. It does not come off like the video, and forget just removing the color and not the base. We have had zero trouble removing Akzentz, Gelish and Shellac. We don't do any filing. Just soak for ten minutes, push gel off nail and drench w/ Solar Oil for a few minutes. I ended up peeling it off around day 7 (I know I'm not supposed too do that. I'm a rebel.) and my nails felt a vacuum seal was being lifted off of them. Very creepy feeling.
