Kimberly, I am in close contact with Square, those comments can often be from "trolls" (people who send time writing negative reviews and lurking about with false claims of bad service, etc.) whose sole purpose is to ruin reputations.
I have thoroughly researched Square and the service has been recommended by the biggest tech blogs out there.
