I have 2 fingers on each hand that do this. I usually keep my nails very short so that this is not noticeable. When I want them long, I attach tips to make them look straight as the others have suggested. However, I must replace the tips every 6 to 8 weeks because as the nail grows out, it grows crooked again and just filing it off on one side makes it look deformed. I have to cut them off as short as possible and attach new tips. Filing off one side and sculpting out the other will not work either, the "C" curve will be off and not look right. If she keeps them real short, you can get away with just filing them straight, but I mean short as in just 1/8th of an inch beyond the tip of the finger.
You could try to explain to your client that her "C" curve is off by showing her the difference between the "C" curve on her straight nails compared to the "C" curve on the crooked nails. How the other nails are straight and the 2 crooked nails lean off to the side when looking down the barrel of the nail from the tip. Do you understand what I mean by that? Maybe this will help her to understand that the only way to fix her crooked nails is to replace them regularly, the way you have been doing it. Share with her your knowledge of the proper structure of nails and she will be impressed with your knowledge and be happy in knowing that you know what you are doing. Sometimes the only way to keep a client happy is to sell yourself and your knowledge to the client so that she recognizes that you are the expert. Clients are allowed to tell me how they want their nails to look, not how to do their nails, it's my job is to figure out how to make them look that way. They do not know how to make their nails look the way they want them to, I do. That's what I get paid the big bucks for.
