Heather, I wonder how loud it is? There are two models. The cougar said it is quieter. It is a good idea! Maybe someone has one and can tell us about it. I sure get tired of all the dust. Angie

I was goofing around on amazon the other day and came across an ash vacuum (for fireplaces). So, I'm thinking if it will handle ash then nail dust should be a breeze. Right?
