I use a shop vacation with a HEPA filter for fine particles. I also use the
fine particle bag with it. My dh put a hole in my table like for Wtac and a
hole in the wall behind me so it's in my garage. When I had my bigger Salon
I kept it in a decorative wooden box right next to my table. When I was in
home depot a few weeks ago I saw that they actually sell a noise muffler
that you put in the air blower hole.

I had a wtac and sold it after a year. It worked good but I only do gel
nails and color gels so after a month the dust would be shooting out of the
back of the machine.

With the shop vacation I don't need to take anything apart to vacuum out
dust. I just open it, change the bag, and I'm ready to go. I don't have dust
on my hands or the table. My clients hover their fingers over the hole and
it takes any dust off their nails.

We made the hose so that it can be pulled out of the bottom of the table. My
pedi chair is right next to my table, so when doing gel toes I pull out the
hose, turn my chair left, put the hose between my knees, and I'm ready for
the toe dust. I have a second electric file at my pedi station.

I had a setup that attached to my handpiece years ago but this is definitely
more versatile and cost effective.
